Mountain Biking in Brechfa Forest

Raven Trail (black/severe) - designed by Rowan Sorrell and Brian Rumble, for expert mountain bike users - distance 18.5km.

Ty’r Cae is situated half a mile from the start of the Derwen and Raven trails and 4 miles from the start of the Gorlech Trail

Brechfa Forest with its dramatic views and deeply cut river valleys offers superb mountain biking.

Gorlech Trail (red) designed by Rowan Sorrell is made up of three big climbs and descents stretching over 19km.

Derwen Trail (green/easy)  gives the inexperienced off-road rider a unique introduction to the world of mountain biking - distance 9.2 km

Derwen Trail (blue/moderate) - distance 4.7km taking in a longer,and faster descent. The blue route is also a stepping stone to the steeper and more technical red Gorlech route.
